On behalf of the Rochester and Lake Manitou Chamber of Commerce, let me extend a warm welcome to you. We are happy you have chosen the Rochester Community as a place to live.

As you become acquainted with our community, you will find out why people choose Fulton County to raise a family. In addition to the information you will find in the welcome bag, we would like to share with you some recreational activities we have to offer. Outdoor activities include golf, boating, biking, sledding, swimming, walking trails and camping. We have a wonderful playground called Manitou Mountain, located at the city park. Our city park also offers picnic area and shelters, lighted basketball courts and softball fields. The Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Round Barn Festival, which is held the 2^nd weekend in June. This festival offers something for the entire family. It includes a Friday night twilight parade, bands, games and sports events. The Chili Cook-off & Red Hot Car Show, also sponsored by the Chamber, is held the 2^nd Saturday in October and is a great opportunity to try Rochester’s finest chili!

Located in north central Indiana, you can easily access major metropolitan areas, such as South Bend, Fort Wayne and Indianapolis. However, despite its proximity, the communities of Fulton County have managed to maintain the charm and atmosphere of a traditional small town.
