Rochester Family Eye Care is independently owned and operated by Dr. Herb Price and Dr. Kathy Shepler. Family Eye Care opened the Rochester practice in 2007 at 1327 Main Street next to Dr. Ray Hazen. Drs. Price and Shepler are very excited to have the opportunity to serve the Rochester and Fulton County area. Dr. Herb Price started Family Eye care in Logansport in 1971. Dr. Kathy Shepler joined the practice in 1989.
Drs. Price and Shepler recently received national recognition in an article in Vision Monday. The article discussed the current economic environment and the effect on the optical industry in this country. Family Eye Care has not only provided the highest quality lenses for their patients, they have implemented a ‘Value Eyewear Program’ for those without vision insurance so they can experience the best in premium prescription lenses at a reduced price.
Rochester Family Eye Care tries to exceed their patient’s expectations. The staff are well trained professionals in eye care technology and can discuss any questions regarding your vision insurance and eye care needs.
Family Eye Care provides comprehensive eye exams and treatments to give the patient the highest quality in eye care. The doctors co-manage with area opthalmologists in treating eye health diseases; cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, pediatric eye muscle problems, eye injuries and eye infections.
Their expertise includes sports vision, refractive surgery and specialty contact lenses. Family Eye Care can provide the athlete with protective sports eyewear to reduce the risk of eye injury. Drs. Price & Shepler provide their patients with all types of contact lenses. Today’s contact lenses can provide vision correction for athletes as well as patients that wear specialty multi-focal (bifocal) lenses.
Prescription and non-prescription sunglasses are available from Oakley, RayBan and Coach as well as many other fashion designers.
The doctors and staff appreciate the patronage of those who have come to see them since opening the Rochester office. Drs.
