We would like to extend a warm hello from Community Coordinated Child Care (4Cs). We are your local non-profit resource and referral agency located in South Bend .  We are proud to say that our vision “To connect families and their children with quality early childhood opportunities that will promote future success” is still regarded as a high priority in our homes, communities, and among successful local leaders. 4Cs is a project of the Indiana Association for Child Care Resource and Referral, The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, Division of Family Resources and the Bureau of Child Care. We serve St. Joseph , Elkhart , Fulton , Kosciusko, Marshall , and Starke Counties .

The mission we stand behind is “Community Coordinated Child Care, Inc. increases the quality and accessibility of child care by providing families, early childhood professionals, and the community with developmental opportunities, child care referrals, and support services.” We value children and their potential to become life long learners. We value families and early childhood professionals to support them in providing a safe, healthy and nurturing environment for children. We value early childhood education to support the growth and development of children. We provide the following services to the community:

·         Information on what quality child care should incorporate

·         Orientation on licensing for individuals wanting to become licensed early childhood providers

·         Paths To Quality, Indiana ’s voluntary child care rating system

·         Parents As Teachers program which supports parent education and positive interaction with children

·         Free or minimal cost classes every month in several fun and educational areas targeting providers, parents, and community members focusing on ages 0-5.

·         Low cost CPR, First Aid and Universal Precautions classes once a months

·         A lending library and educational work room for early childhood professionals

·          4cs can provide information and presentations to child care staff and directors in order to educate them on early childhood education information.

·         We provide child care referrals and important resource information to the community.

Our hope is to form a dependable relationship with you that will benefit community needs. The resulting partnership will help provide increased community involvement, heightened awareness about quality child care and early childhood education development opportunities.
